Perla Perez named as Principal of Tulia High School

Tulia ISD is pleased to announce and welcome Ms. Perla Perez as the new Principal of Tulia High School. Ms. Perez has 13 years of experience as a secondary assistant principal in Hereford ISD. While at Hereford, Ms. Perez functioned as the campus supervisor for the Social Studies, Science, and Special Education departments. In addition, she was the Campus Discipline Coordinator, and she served as the learning facilitator for the last five years. Prior to Hereford, Ms. Perez served at Tulia Junior High where she taught Computer Literacy, Keyboarding, Career Investigations, and Journalism.

Ms. Perez has a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from West Texas A&M University. In addition, she holds certificates for Principal (EC-12), Secondary Business Composite (6-12), and Information Processing Technologies I (6-12).

As high school principal, Ms. Perez will provide instructional leadership and support to ensure high standards of instructional service and educational success for the high school faculty, staff, and students. We are excited to add her as a part of the administrative team, and we look forward to her leadership on the high school campus.
