Destination Imagination

Tulia Junior High's 6th Grade Destination Imagination (DI) Team won 1st place in the Technical Challenge at the Northwest Plains Regional Tournament in Lubbock Saturday, February 25, 2017.
They will be advancing to the state competition on April 8th. Destination Imagination is an educational program where student teams solve open-ended STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) challenges and present their solution at tournaments. Going to state competition from the Tulia Dabbers team are: Karee White, Lexi Yarbrough, Trey Becerra, Travon McCaslin, and Evan Eastwood.

Tulia ISD Hall of Fame Class of 2016

Tulia ISD announces the Tulia ISD Hall of Fame Class of 2016. The Hall of Fame recognizes alumni, faculty, and staff who have demonstrated notable accomplishments or provided significant contributions to their school, community, or society. This year, the selection committee has selected from those nominated two outstanding individuals to be inducted into the Tulia ISD Hall of Fame. The inductees are Dolores Hutto Carruth, M.D., and W. L. “Bud” Roberts.

Alondra Villa to Compete at State

The Tulia High School students proved to be tough competition at the Region 1 Academic UIL Meet that took place on Saturday, April 25th. THS had 14 students compete at the regional meet this year. In order to get to the regional meet, students had to place in the top 3 or be the top team at the district meet. Click for qualifiers and results.
