Effective August, 2008, all personnel hired by Tulia ISD must be fingerprinted as part of the state required criminal background check for Texas public schools. The individual is responsible for the cost to process his/her fingerprints.

Teacher Salary Schedule and Critical Area Stipends
--The Tulia ISD Trustees provide a generous pay scale significantly higher than the state base pay scale. Additional financial incentives are available for teachers of grades 8-12 math, 8-12 science, 9-12 Spanish, ESL, Auto Mech/Metal Trades, Chem/Physics, and Speech Therapy.
