Dear Parents and Students,
I would like to welcome all of you to my class this year. I am a graduate of both Amarillo College and West Texas A&M University; I have an Associates in Science for General Studies and a Bachelors of Science in Art. I am also double certified by the State of Texas to teach both 6-12 Mathematics and All-Level Art Education. I have been married to my husband, Carl for 19 years, and we have two boys; 11-year-old Ethan and 4-year-old Tanner who will be starting school this year.
This is my 6th year teaching in Tulia, and this year, I will be teaching Art, Computer Applications, Graphic Design, and Theatre. I am extremely excited to have this opportunity and look forward to learning more about all of my students. Feel free to contact me by e-mail at any time. I do check it regularly throughout the day, and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. My conference is 6th period; however, I do request that parent conferences are pre-arranged. You may call and leave a message with the office and I will return it as soon as possible. I hope that we will all have a fun and exciting year!
